What People Say About Us
Learning From Leaders, LLC has asked people familiar with our work to share their opinion.
Television & Media
My combination of corporate and television experience brings a different perspective to my television and media work. Leaders related to my questions, asked on subjects and in a context they understand and appreciate. Ten years on staff in a major university taught me how to relate this material to a wide range of students...from undergraduates just starting their college work, to harden and experienced professionals back for their MBA.

Business Programs
I often lead interactive discussions at public, private, and organizational events on a wide range of busines topics, typically integrating clips or entire episodes from the "Leaders on Leadership" television series into the program. These mini-case studies become the source material for highly interactive discussions by the group rather than lectures by me. This ensures that participants' most important issues are surfaced and explored.

Moderator
I don't accept the tradition that panel moderators should "follow the formula".... Ask Question 1 to Panelist A, Ask Questions 1 to Panelist B, etc." I use my combined business and media experiences to moderate programs and panels in a much more "conversational" mode...working to have the panelists converse on-topic among themselves with the audience watching. This makes a much richer learning experience, and it is also much more engaging. Moderating programs of individual speakers is also done in a very conversational tone. In both cases there is one unimpeachable rule: The moderator's job is to make the speakers and panelists the "stars of the show".

Classroom
I have worked in classrooms of students from junior high school to graduate business programs. As with the business programs I lead, each classroom discussion is customized to provide the best learning opportunity for the participants. Can junior high school students learn from many of the same video clips as MBA students...absolutely.
